  6. About Ircle
  7.  
  8. Ircle is a Macintosh program to use IRC (Internet Relay Chat). IRC enables
  9. you to talk, in realtime,  to other Internet users around the world. IRC is
  10. organized in channels on a specific topic. You can also talk privately with
  11. someone. On average there are about 50000 users and 20000 channels on IRC
  12. worldwide.

  15. System Requirements
  16.  
  17. Any Macintosh or Power Macintosh with System version 7.0 or higher
  18. installed. (System 8.0 or higher and AppleScript recommended).
  19. MacTCP 2.0.x driver or Open Transport 1.1 or higher.
  20. An internet connection.
  21. Minimum 1.5Mb of free RAM, 2Mb recommended
  22.  
  23. Additional requirements:  Quicktime 2.x (3.0 is recommended) and a sound
  24. application (e.g. SoundApp) to play .wav files.

  26. This client has been tested with EFNet, Dalnet, Undernet, Newnet and almost
  27. all other IRC networks. This client is fully compatible with the RFC1459
  28. (IRC) & RFC 1430 (Ident service) documents and makes use of the
  29. enhancements as seen in Undernet, Dalnet and other irc servers/networks.
  30. We cannot guarantee that all commands listed will work on all servers. You
  31. might encounter some servers that dont recognize certain commands on the
  32. net.

  107. This is a legal agreement between you and MacResponse covering your use of
  108. Ircle.  Be sure to read the following agreement before using the software.
  109. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE THE SOFTWARE
  110. AND DESTROY ALL COPIES OF IT.

  112. This copyright software is distributed as shareware.  You may use this
  113. software without any charge for 30 days and then decide to keep it or not.
  114. If you pay the shareware fee you will receive a personal license code that
  115. allows you to continue to use the software. You may distribute the software
  116. to others, but you may not distribute your personal code to others. The
  117. software is owned by MacResponse and is protected by Dutch copyright laws
  118. and international treaty provisions.  Therefore, you must treat the
  119. software like any other copyrighted material (e.g. a book or musical
  120. recording).

  123. MacResponse.  We are more than happy to allow you to distribute our
  124. software, but you must first have a license to do so.  Contact MacResponse

  138. consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the
  139. software or related documentation, even if MacResponse has been advised of

  143. any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of this
  144. Agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the
  145. Agreement shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to
  146. effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall
  147. continue in full force and effect.
